Creative Director - Design
I am the ‘Creative Director – Design’ at RAPP, heading up a team of 14 experts in digital, print, motion, 3D and branding. During my 19-year career, I’ve worked on integrated projects for some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including American Express, British Airways, Mercedes-Benz, Montblanc, IBM, Ralph Lauren and Virgin Media. I am a prominent judge on the UK design jury circuit. I’ve also collected over 40 design awards myself, with D&AD pencils, Cannes shortlists & Gold DMAs among them. Aside from getting excited about beautifully crafted design, I am passionate about representation in the creative industry and have co-authored a Campaign article on the subject with my brothers. I’m now continuing the discussion within the wider business community and am actively involved with the IDM, DMA & Graeme Robertson Trust to mentor students on The Big Book Crit programme. A highlight in 2018 was my collaboration with The DMA Creative Committee, which led to the creation of a design initiative called ‘Command Shift Design’, a project which aims to disrupt our understanding of strategic design thinking.
